Neal Dudovitz Honored for Contributions to Legal Community
NLSLA Executive Director Neal Dudovitz is the recipient of this year’s San Fernando Bar Association Stanley Mosk Legacy of Justice Award for the significant contributions he has made to the legal community over his career. The award is named in honor of the late Associate Justice Stanley Mosk, who served on the California Supreme Court for 37 years until his death in 2001.
“It’s humbling to be honored with this award named for a justice Mosk, a leading California jurist with a unwavering commitment to justice for all,” Dudovitz said. “For me, this is really a recognition of NLSLA’s incredible impact on justice in the San Fernando Valley over the past 20 years, and that is a legacy I am truly proud of.”
The award will be presented at the Bar Association’s Judges’ Night Dinner on February 25. Past honorees include U.S. Court of Appeals Judge Harry Pregerson (2001), Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Michael Nash (2007), U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Barry Russell (2009), Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Morton Rochman (2011), and Workers Comp Appeals Board Judge Jerold Cohn (2013).
