Brian Davis, NLSLA’s Development Director, is responsible for the fundraising projects which support NLSLA’s critical programs and services. Brian manages the team responsible for contributions from individuals, law firm, and the business community.

Brian comes to NLSLA with more than 12 years in the non-profit community, working for organizations such as The Trevor Project, the Los Angeles LGBT Center, and Inner City Law Center. He’s managed fundraising programs in national and regional organizations, and been involved in every area of Development, from Foundation Relations to Major Gifts to Special Events.

Prior to joining NLSLA in 2014, Brian was the Senior Major Gifts Officer for The Trevor Project, the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services for LGBTQ youth. At Trevor, he managed a staff and was responsible for nearly $2 million in annual revenue from individual donors.

Brian received a Bachelors in Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles and is a Certified Fund Raising Executive with CFRE International.  He’s a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, a certified SCUBA Master Instructor, and spends his nights and weekends being bossed around by his German Shepherd.
