Kamenir Health Advocacy Fund

Through the Kamenir Fund, NLSLA has created an interdisciplinary curriculum and clinical program at USC’s Gould School of Law and Keck School of Medicine, training future doctors and lawyers to work collaboratively to impact community health.

Shriver Housing Project - Los Angeles

NLSLA leads a groundbreaking collaborative providing legal representation to people facing eviction in some of Los Angeles’ poorest neighborhoods. The unprecedented program is the largest of seven pilot projects across the state to ensure representation for the poor when critical civil rights are at stake.

Self-Help Centers

NLSLA operates the largest network of Self-help Legal Access Centers in California. The Centers have helped close to a million people access the courts during the past decade on critical matters such as protection from domestic violence and child custody.
